Turkey, which has troops deployed in northwestern Syria where it backs the rebels, has repeatedly called on Damascus and its ally Russia to stop the offensive against Idlib.

Made me laugh. A foreign country telling an occupied country to not attack and remove foreign backed militia. I'm sure there's countless examples of the US, Israeli, UK, French, etc govs/militaries demanding the same. On a side note, I wonder what the absolute minimum barrier for entry is to be called a "Regime"...🤔

Unfortuntely Star Wars has never been something I've enjoyed. The originals I can watch, the middle bunch were laughably bad (imo) and never even considered watching the newest three due to the agenda politics. Nevertheless, I'll give the Clone Wars a try. A friend of mine has spoken very highly of it, so it's worth a chance.

Why hate...? I'm assuming it was rhetorical. I'm afraid my intellect isn't developed enough to be able to digest philosophical thoughts, statements, musings, etc, beyond the surface meaning. I have briefly read some Nietzsche, at a friends house, while waiting for him and his wife to get ready to go out. I must admit it didn't make much sense to me. But why hate? Would you be questioning it if he said love instead? I find both words are over-used to the point of lacking the true intention and feeling. With regard to that exact quote, it brought an amorphous, nebulous, vague direction of thought/feeling I had held and matched it to words that my monkey brain could understand.

As I detailed earlier this year in “We Need to Talk About the Iran Protests,” fearmongering over Iran’s non-existent nuclear weapons program was the basis for an extraordinary series of measures against the country in recent decades. These measures include “NITRO ZEUS,” a full-scale military cyberattack against Iran, the best-known element of which was Stuxnet, the military-grade cyberweapon co-developed by the United States and Israel that specifically targeted Iran’s nuclear enrichment facility at Natanz.

I've been an arborist/tree surgeon/tree climber for 15 years and have worked in some world famous botanic and public gardens in the UK. Most trees have both sex organs, but you get a few that are single sex. If you've ever heard of Ginkgo, a very old tree from China, the females bare fruit that smells fucking revolting, so surprise, surprise, you'll rarely see it planted in cultivation. I tihnk I've only ever seen a female tree planted in a front garden in a house i would occasionally walk past in my home town growing up. Come autumn, there'd be a mess of squashed fruit on the pavement, with the stink of cat shit, vomit, human waste, etc, preceding your arrival.

I'm sure keen botanists would know why certain angiosperms (woody, flowering plants with seeds born in fruit) exhibit dioecy.

Aye. Monoecious and dioecious.

"A monoecious plant is one that has male and female flowers on the same plant, or that has flowers on every plant that contain both male and female reproductive components. A dioecious plant has either male or female flowers, not both. For dioecious plants to reproduce, a male plant must be near a female plant so that pollinators can do their work."

Oh yeah, I've been watcher her since Breaking The Set used to post onto Youtube, but I'm unsure if I'm just noticing how pro-socialism she is or whether it's since Empire Files started. I guess if you're no longer connected to a TV station you can wear your colours however you wish.

As you've mentioned, it's the left-right paradigm that puts me off, but that's universal. I honestly don't feel a protest vote is worth it. I considered it and spoke about it with my parents, but do you think that whatever surface dweller that's counting votes gives a toot what Norse God is getting votes. I can only imagine anyone out of the defacto choices are straight in the bin. I appreciate your sentiment regarding the resistance, but I suppose it's all perspective. Those operating the system just don't care what plebs think or feel. Onward, in the name of Israel. Nothing ever happens until chaos ensues, then maybe the Blue Stars will be dragged out of office and thrown in a ditch, unless of course we're shot in our homes beforehand. Merry Christmas!

Regarding the UK election, I didn't vote and neither did my family. I had got to the point where it was clearly a case of voting for Israel or not. Why engage with a system that has been hijacked to benefit the Dark Forces.

Not asking much, just GoT levels of production and acting, without the shit ending please. I'm nearly done watching Farscape so could do with something to go straight into...

Are you a fuddyduddy? No. I'd say there's probably loads of people that would agree with your tastes. I feel it's more a question of how strong your resolve is when dealing with the programming people can be bombarded with. I often see gorgeous human females in my local town, it's just a shame they're typically driving in the opposite direction to me.
