Imagine being IT for your company, and not having root of the systems, and some sysadmin from microsoft can (and will) tamper with things, and install/remove software at their whim.
Using anything microsoft now is a huge liability.
Linux mint + libreoffice = 90% of what most people need at work, and even a dummy like myself can set it up.
