It's incredibly hypocritical for any male here to say that there's anything wrong with legalizing prostitution or with sex work at all, because it's men that create and support it and BEG for it to exist. I'm not saying that's wrong either, as a man I know how important that s#it is for us. What i'm saying is, I know from experience that men would love to live in a world where getting in on with a sex worker was more than just Ok, but actually encouraged; and that men want to live in a sexualized society. So don't sit here and pass judgment as if you're on a higher horse than everyone else. If you're a guy, you desire to have this stuff and if you're honest you can admit it.

ANY man? Because ALL men support it?

What a ridiculous conclusion to an absurd presumption.

Exactly. That's like saying it would be hypocritical for a man to be against anally fucking a cow, because only men have penises, ergo only men can anally fuck cows... Yeah, that's true, but just because some man out there is desperate enough to molest live stock doesn't mean I'm sitting here cheering him on.

Men wouldn't pay for sex if women didn't held it back from them. Hypergamy and polyginy are the root cause of the imbalance between the amount of men and women who are desperate for sex, therefore it is strictly the result of female choices.

I don't know about that, in some countries men who are happily married and getting it regularly still pay for sex. I think men crave sex as a recreational and physical outlet in a manner that most women are not accustomed to and equally allowed to reciprocate in. We tell women to behave and not act out sexually, but we let men be as sexually active as possible. Thus I believe there's nothing wrong with legitimizing sex workers if that's the kind of work they CHOOSE and they are not forced into it for any reason.

I have never known of such a case. I'm not denying those exist, but those are certainly outliers. Men generally only have so much libido to go around and if they are having sex with their wives every day it's hard to have the time or energy to cheat.

Well I'm thinking specifically of Holland (amsterdam) and places where prostitution is legal, but regulated. I don't really know personally of men who are "getting it on the side," but I've heard a lot of stories. And I don't blame men for wanting sex a lot, because that's what we are. We make over a million sperm a day, they have to go somewhere, and so it's no wonder to me men are horny all the time. To men, sex can be purely fun/recreational without deeper meaning. I don't think men think of it as cheating as much as just getting their needs met. Just some thoughts.
