Nah can stay up there for weeks, months, years potentially anymore if they supply it right. China will probably try to build a permanent base there.

There's one thing you could do on the moon, and that's build a sick telescope on the far side that would be completely shielded from any sort of earth based interference on top of not having any atmospheric interference. Crazy excellent conditions for a radio telescope with insane resolving power.

Course that's about it. Mars is way more fun since you can party with Elon.

We don't hear much about their station, just as most of mankind is oblivious to all the space projects that have been underway for years.

I'm more fascinated by deep space photography with the James Webb telescope.
