I think the tobacco might actually be helping although that could be wishful thinking. There were a couple hushed papers about smokers being less susceptible to Covid, I don't know why that might not apply to a number of illnesses.

I believe I caught the bug at the Austin City Limits music festival. It's the most people I've ever seen in one place. They estimate 450,000 people attend the two-weekend event, so for the first weekend I wouldn't be surprised if there were 225-300k.
