Title slightly misleading. Anyone actually living in space for 23 years would look like a skin skeleton and be unable to survive at one G.

Not unless we develop 1 G gravity plating. Rotational gravity just isn't the same. Google it and YouTube will splain it to you.

It's easy to spin a space craft. The problem in Linear Acceleration and Circular Motion. Say you are in a spinning space station and have 1 G. Now drop a ball. It doesn't drop straight down. It drops in an arc.

23 years is pretty good with no major mishap (with Sotto voce : at least that we have heard of )

I guess you could say that about the station itself, but as far as the transport back and forth, two shuttles were destroyed with all astronauts on board, and that was publicly disclosed.
