It would be interesting to see if the equatorial magnetic field pole is located there for to an ancient not gaseous planetoid impact occurred.
Similar to how Comet Shoemaker–Levy 9 impacts occurred.
I doubt that even the largest of comets would be dense enough to reach the metal-crystalline core.
