Last year over 500 people protested the mask mandate in Charlottetown, PE. I only knew about it because I got caught in traffic as they marched down our main street. It took about 2 hours for them to march the whole way. I got a front row seat as I was stuck at an intersection as they went by.

Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure that is the largest protest the province has ever seen. It took place on a Saturday and I couldn't wait to hear what the local CBC new on Monday was going to say. Here on PEI, EVERYONE watches Compass (our CBC 6 o'clock news).

Monday came and nothing.... Not even a single word about one of, -if not the biggest protest we had ever seen.... I always new CBC was bullshit but this was insane! NOT A WORD! It was over a week before it was mentioned in passing on a story about another protest that was planned...

Many others in Windsor would like to hear more about this. Worth writing up for /s/Druthers too.

The official story about the Windsor "blockade" is bullshit. It was all over before Trudeau even declared the completely unnecessary Emergency Act bullshit. Practice for things to come.

Everything about covid was a web of lies and disinformation. The mainstream media's part was to say as little as possible. Repeat the government narrative and that is all.

The real propaganda war was done on social media. Attempt to ensure the spread of the virus by discrediting mask mandates and attacking and ridiculing those who choose to wear them was one of the big ones.

With hindsight it is pretty easy to put it all together. Just look at what the government did not say that we now know they knew, like the virus is airborne. They knew that in February yet in March Fauci was still saying we don't need masks. Then they pulled all N95 masks and particulate and allergy filtration masks from the all the shelves and never restocked. They WANTED that virus to spread and they believed masks could have prevented it.

Not long ago, I used to be a strong supporter of CBC and a middling supporter of Trudeau. Now I'm ready to be rid of both.
