afaik a virus can't survive without a host for long, maybe a couple of hours.

Survival presupposes life.

Viruses are not alive.

Some can survive on surfaces for a few days, depending on the surface and the temperature. From what I read the covfefe virus can very from a couple hours to a few days. More tests need to be done.

My mom who buys into this shitstorm on the phone moments ago said a person can harbor it for 14 days.

So that means you can't do anything for 14 days to be absolutely sure. Who besides recluses like me can do that?

I don't think that's a good Quora.

The Joe Rogan "expert" interview say heat does NOT kill the virus.

Saunas are NOT a fix. It's like boiling a cup of water and pouring it in a cold water bathtub.

Humans cannot be sterilized. Objects that don't melt are another thing.

Viruses are not alive. They have no cell structure, nervous system, digestive system, etc.

There is a propaganda push that is trying to demonize viruses as if they are alive.

Viruses are the new ISIS.

They're everywhere, and they're going to get you!!!

Whether or not viruses are alive doesn’t change the fact that demonizing the is retarded. It would be equally stupid to demonize a bacteria

Agreed. Though, anything can be burnt, but not all at the same temperature.

Of this dreaded invisible enemy, I find the statistics among the worst aspects. Like commies under your bed - you never know until you check.

If 3 out of 100 reported affected cases die then IF everyone has it then MILLIONS could die. But they have no plan to test everyone and there's no proof that everyone will get it, etc etc etc.

Fake extremist stats.

Not really. Burning requires oxygen. It won't burn if it's already oxidized.

You can't burn water, or co2.

Put them in the center of the sun or black hole and I doubt their bonds would hold.

Change is constant, much imperceptibly. Chemical change doesn't happen in a cold vacuum. Viruses don't exist in or of pure H20 or CO2.

But your point is taken.
