I would call it more like I have a Town Mayor where I live. A County Council. A State Governor and all sorts of politicians and are ANY of them really "in charge" of me? No because they can make all the rules and laws they want and it is my choice to obey or follow them or not. The phrase "I bow to no man" comes to mind. US Presidents wield incredible power but that power has breaks on it. And, We the People can always say "no we are not doing that shit". Look at all the ways the government bribed, threatened and cajoled EVERYONE to get the vax jab with great punishment if you did not. Well I did not and am damn glad I refused. I think I'd be dead today if I got the vax shot of evil. Though they sure tried their lies never once worked on me I am FAR too cynical and as an Engineer I both understand and use mathematics and the math never once added up to the conclusion lying government fucks said it did.
