Looks like aid to Ukraine may get attached to the next legislation to correct problems at the border. 😉

It would be ludicrously irresponsible of any citizen to put the security of another nation above their own without there being exceptional circumstances. That said, you can still support international causes to a reasonable degree while still putting your own security first, something apparently lost on those sending money everywhere but where it's needed.

I remember when the entire democratic party voted "No" to securing our border. Why those treasonous foreign agents still have a job and aren't being tortured for info shows how bad the state of this country is in.

Because the border is something near, but Ukraine is far away. In 1939-1941 the war raging in Europe seem so far away. By Nov. 1943 the American troops were landing in North Africa as part of Operation Torch. It wouldn't cost much to put concertina wire on the border and deport illegal migrants.
