That is controversial because "people to stop dying" (aka ceasefire) = "give Russia territories it already occupied (and time to replenish lost weaponry)", and that is what Russia wants now when it's on the defensive. Nobody talked about ceasefire in 2022 when Russia was on the offensive.

It's not controversial. Ending war is literally the most common idea held by literally everyone in the human race.

What do we get if we "win"? What's the prize? We get a smashed version of the most corrupt country in Europe? With neo-Nazis?

What's in it for us? We won nothing in Iraq. We won nothing in Afghanistan. We're winning nothing in Syria? Why, why, why?

What's the last time the US military-industrial complex even won a war? They can't win and they don't want to win. They lied about Afghanistan for 20 years and still lost. The point is to keep the war going and the dying continuing as long as possible.

    Doesnt look like we are avoiding anything...in fact American help is what is going to be the cause of World war 3
