It's probably going to cost more than the wall. I would love it if we could just fire all those people but that's not even on the table. We're still going to pay them for all that time they were off. They get paid above average. They get better benefits. All to work at a far slower pace than anything in the private sector. But we're still going to pay them.

That doesn't happen in the private sector. Why? Because they don't have an unlimited supply of other people's money.
