It's because they get well paid off through their lobbyists for voting in any military spending and all those billions to Zelenski come back to them. That's because child poverty is a retarded idea. All children are "poor" since children don't make money. This is an obvious grift.

You want to address poverty fine I'm all for actually addressing the issue and helping people. But I won't stand for this "think of the children" emotional manipulation crap. These fuckers just want to take your tax money and use it to enrich themselves while setting up anyone who opposes their self-enrichment enterprise as an asshole that hates children. Who refuses to discuss tax breaks for parents of children in poverty?

Nutrition in particular at a young age makes a person stronger, healthier, more intelligent, better member of society.

I would prefer to help build people up, train them, educate them, to make better decisions and work harder for a better ad more prosperous future rather than subsidize them.

If you start after they've had a nutrient or educational stimulation poor childhood, you've got a more uphill battle to help build them up.

The money is best spent in early childhood than later education.
