No, they're not as bad as each other. One side's base is generally interested in social progress, and the other wants a christo-fascist dictatorship. You would have to already be leaning towards christo-fascism to think both outcomes are as bad as each other

So the republicans established the social progress by attempting to improve the economy, reduce illegal immigration and reduce the level of unemployment in minority groups and shifting massive funding to protected groups such as LGBT. But they also paved the way for Fauci to utterly demolish civil liberties through lockdowns, forced medical intervention and unnecessary fatalities and hardships.

The Dems are simply evil and always have been . Hellbent on starting new wars, invading countries, escalating military conflict, encouraging illegal immigration, they introduced the Patriot Act, they push business away through ridiculous levels of taxation, they claim to have never done anything wrong like delete 10k emails, Hilary, and of course the Dem states had the highest levels of COVID deaths and BLM riots as they encourage violence. I wish I could think of some good points, but this wasn't really my initial point.

Both fiddle with elections. Both blame eachother. Both enforced this COVID bullshit yet both are responsible. Both give US dollars away and neither are self aware enough to realise the rest of the world has had enough of their bullshit and are costing everyone money and lives, and all this privacy shit started right at home their in the US and neither party has the balls to put a stop to it. Still collecting everyone's data, huh? No fucking shit.

But sure, think one side is saintly if you want, they're both full of shit.

I'm certainly no fan of the dems, but...

they introduced the Patriot Act

I'm pretty sure this was a Republican sponsored bill (Jim Sensenbrenner). It was also signed into law by George W. There was only 1 person who voted against it, Feingold, a democrat.

Hellbent on starting new wars, invading countries

This has historically been the province of the Republican party, and its been Democrats that have been anti-war. Although the Dems are responsible for this Ukraine nonsense. The Bushes were responsible for the lsat few times we actually deployed the military in invasions

"The Patriot Act" was a revised version of a 1995 bill; created by Biden.
