Why should anyone beloeve Western Journal's lies, Lake's lies, or her supporters's lies?

Well, I don't personally believe this, but it shouldn't be difficult to see why someone would.

Lake was running against the Secretary of State who's job it is to oversee the election. This alone creates an appearance of impropriety. Arizona then has more problems with election machines than anywhere else, and is one of the last to finish counting, and the person overseeing the race narrowly beat out competitor. The optics of this situation aren't great, you have the appearance of impropriety, and it reduces faith in the system regardless of whether the system was rigged or not. If you were looking for somewhere to find funny business, this would be the first place people would look.

Yeah, again, I'm not arguing the facts here, I'm just trying to explain the phenomenon. Most Americans are consuming media that have all the same biases. Republicans are informed with a bias from their media sources. Selectively reporting a series of facts while ignoring others can create a compelling narrative, even if it isn't consistent with reality. This just doesn't surprise me much, and I don't think this problem is unique to republican media outlets or election coverage
