As a Chinese, I would like to offer some of my own views: ⒈ China's electricity demand is particularly large. In the next 10 years, it will turn to automobile manufacturing, aircraft manufacturing, and chip manufacturing. China has abundant coal resources, so it needs to build more coal power plants. ⒉ The newly built coal power plant adopts the most advanced technology, which can absorb 95% of carbon dioxide into a special box, thereby reducing carbon emissions. Replacing old power plants with new ones will reduce carbon dioxide emissions. ⒊ China's per capita emissions are half that Europe's, but not particularly low, and may approach European levels in the future. ⒋ China seems to be afraid of nuclear leakage and dare not build a large number of nuclear power plants. In fact, China's nuclear energy technology is quite mature. ⒌Xi is definitely the most environmentally friendly chairman among the previous presidents. Although I don't like some aspects of him, I have to admit that if Xi had not paid attention to environmental protection since 2012, China's land, water and atmosphere would have been 10 times worse. ⒍ It is not difficult for China to achieve zero emissions in 2060, and it may be advanced to 2050. However, it is almost impossible to continue to compress the time. After all, China's goal is to reach 4 times the GDP of the United States by 2050.

Listen mate, I'm not saying china is doing anything wrong.

What I'm saying is that, while we are crushed under restrictions and fines for having anything to do with oil, useless people will always assume the "climate crisis" is our fault, and completely ignore everyone else, because it's not about saving the planet, it's about control.

Carbon is what trees breathe. Why would you want to reduce it?

Nuclear is much better but there's nothing wrong with modern coal factories.

I don't think the climate crisis is the fault of any one country or the West. Carbon emissions are also restricted and fined in China, and many companies go bankrupt or spend huge sums of money installing filtration devices. The improvement in air quality from reducing carbon emissions is significant, at least in my city after switching all buses and taxis to electric, the air quality has improved a lot. The impact on temperature is also obvious. The average annual temperature of all industrial cities in China has risen by 2 to 3 degrees compared with the past 30 years. Of course, I cannot guarantee that the global climate will be affected by carbon emissions.

control what? Are you worried that controlling carbon emissions will cripple your country's economy? Or think the climate crisis is a hoax?

If there was a climate crisis we would be banned from exercising due to too much carbon being released. Marathons are massive climate crisis events.

There's a difference between air pollution and carbon being released.

Sorry you're in a country where you might be banned from exercising or marathons. To be honest, the most incomprehensible thing for Chinese people is why there are so many idiots in the West. For example, those who call for vegetarianism, those who do not believe that the earth is round, those who suggest giving up cars and using bicycles, etc. And some of them even got government jobs. In China, at least a fool cannot be in power. 98% of people in China think that the "How Dare You" girl is a fool. Even Chinese children knows: saving water is not banning water. planting trees with own hands is much better than empty speeches.

Environmental protection must be scientific and reasonable, and we cannot give up a comfortable quality of life and development capabilities for the sake of environmental protection. The largest pollution comes from factories, and the activities of citizens do not pollute much.

China now has a campaign called Against the Infiltration of Western Vegans. The government publicly criticizes celebrities who advocate vegetarianism, believing them to be sinners who destroy the physical fitness of the Chinese people and spies sent by the West to harm young people.
