Oh. Internet drama. When I started IT we used paper punched cards so I have watched all this stuff evolve over decades. If we knew then what we know now more than half the stuff out there would have been supressed by the inventor. The guy that invented the pop up regrets doing so and I wish I had killed early forms of texting and withheld my expertise in Mobile Telephone Switch Offices and VoIP.

If only the internet was still unpopular and only a place for "nerds." I hate seeing things gentrified, people being charged for shitposting, holding internet speech up to the same standards as real life, commercializing and sanitizing everything. Goddamned travesty.

There were flame wars back in the 80's with usenet and most of the users had .edu or .mil ID's and emails.
