let's take a look at your source and author.

Written by Scott Powell: https://townhall.com/columnists/scottpowell/

He has been Senior Fellow at the Discovery Institute since 2010, after a six year affiliation with Stanford’s Hoover Institution. He has written three books and over 250 published articles in the Wall Street Journal, Investor’s Business Daily, Epoch Times, Newsmax, USA Today, Barron’s Financial, New York Post, and Chicago Tribune, and some 40 other newspapers and journals. He graduated from the University of Chicago with honors (B.A. and M.A.) and received his Ph.D. from Boston University.

Discovery Institute is funded by Bill Gates, Schwab, Castle Rock, Walton Family, etc. Their #1 donor, Donors Trust is associated with the Koch family.

Interesting to see Gates and Koch on the same list eh? It's almost like party affiliation doesn't matter sometimes...

A wise suggestion.

Controlled opposition.

They control both sides of their own manufactured conflicts.

This makes it easily to manipulate the situation to a predetermined outcome.

The manipulation is only part of the problem.

In my opinion, the lack of critical thinking among the general public is a greater problem.
They've been intellectually incapacitated by the brainwashing designed into virtually all of the "education" system.
