Carter, now 97, was considered the worse president in modern U.S. history until Biden came along. Like Biden today, Carter sunk so low in the polls that it took a team of diggers from Oak Island to find him.

Absolute nonsense, Muskrat. Even by Saidit's standards, Carter was at least trying to reduce the influence of BigCorp and the Fed, and see what got him. The worst preidents in US history include Trump (easily) and a Jackson and a number of them at the end of the 19th century, and early 20th century. Obama was a worse president than Trump, not that Trump was great but Obama was less than useless, he did the Obamacare bait and switch.

Surprised you feel strongly about this. Didn't think anyone had much hope for Biden. It's kind of a question of who beats him at this point.

That's unrelated to my comment.

The problem is the ridiculously low standard of discourse on the 'right'. Anyone serious about the future would make more of an effort to look at more important issues. For example, what would a presidency under DeSantis look like? Even if Biden's corpse were propped up and a mechanical device moved his lips, he'd be better than DeSantis.

It just seems like a dead horse issue. Who cares what anyone says about Biden at this stage, if the DNC got any brains the one dude who has a shot at beating any Generic Republican Candidate (looking like DeSantis at this point but things may change) is Manchin because he had the integrity to vote against that awful green new deal bill. Kamala and Biden gonna have to go fuck off. Anything else isn't very realistic.

Ditto for the left. But you can pick some nuggets out of the shit either way. This was a funny article, it panders a little maybe, but it's pretty harmless.

He'd probably fix women's sports and the gender identity fad. Kinda need to get back on track to doing shit instead of wondering what gender they are. It's like one of those 70s Star Treks where robots are broken with a simple paradox. In this instance kids have been convinced to consider and take seriously something which is absurd. Needs to stop, not be pandered to.

The Democrats dug their own graves siding with the nutty progressives. They alienated the moderates and drove them to the right. Even Bill Maher is sounding based these days. They're just going to have to own up to that mistake and take the side lines for the next eight years. Maybe they can find a decent candidate in that time. But whatever, it won't be the end of the world.
