I'll take a bumbling idiot President who doesn't get the US bogged down in yet another foreign war, vs some neo-con who wants the US to invade everyone, all while ignoring his own domestic problems.

The CIA and US state department helped overthrow Ukraine's moderate government in 2013, hold sham elections, and install the current western friendly government. Russia is now just making its counter move.

If there's a highlight, at least the civilian death toll should actually drop now, since the Kiev government will stop shelling civilians in Donbass once Russia kneecaps them.
