Yep - that's my point. I think Saiditors are tired of seeing this excuse by some people who - because of their ancestry - do not believe they can be criticized for supporting hate groups. For example, the anti-semitism arguments are so worn out that one can see aparthied Israel as a neo-Nazi state, but can be called anti-semitic for saying this. There are also well-known neo-Nazi supporters of the trucker protests.

This is ridiculous socks. This is the same broad stroke painting that racists do. Saying vaccine mandate protesters are white supremacists, and anyone who supports them is a neo-nazi, is no different than saying Black people are stupid, or Jews are greedy.

You'd think, but this is a disturbing several-year trend in right-wing politics by a number of people who happen to be Jewish - who support groups that have Nazis, and when called on it, they yell that it's antisemitic to assume they support the Nazis in those groups (whereas they do support all people in those groups)

So - you're an admin now, and your 3 responses to me 2 hours ago are just attacks, with minimal relevance to the main points about political attacks against Trudeau, with the partial exception of one of these notes. All three responses from you are forms of whataboutism and forms of attack, rather than points of discussion that address the topic of attacks on Trudeau from politicians using WWII history as their reasons. I'll respond to your points when you show an interest in a discussion. Saidit is what it is because of responses like yours.

Ha! Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised, but I don't know as much since I left the Disciples sub. (It's been interesting to see the various developments at Saidit in the past 16 months. As Reddit has gone corporate in recent years, Saidit is becoming more insular, whereas there is so much more potential at Saidit.)

Merriam-Webster defines "nigger", "faggot", "retard", and "moron" as offensive but does not define "anti-Semite" as offensive. I don't believe you are an anti-Semite but I also don't understand it to be an offensive term.

Merriam-Webster does not define "racist", "bigot", "liar" or "ignoramus" as offensive but does define "idiot" and "cracker" as offensive. You would need to ask /u/magnora7 exactly what Saidit supports but Merriam-Webster is probably a good guideline to start with.

Well for the record the comment is not against the rules, and I agree with your ruling. But approving it rather than ignoring it does have this unfortunate confrontational aspect where it looks like you're giving it your 'seal of approval' rather than just ignoring the reports. Just my 2 cents, doesn't really matter. Carry on lol
