Pinworm infection (threadworm infection in the UK), also known as enterobiasis, is a human parasitic disease caused by the pinworm.[3] The most common symptom is itching in the anal area.[1] This can make sleeping difficult.[1] The period of time from swallowing eggs to the appearance of new eggs around the anus is 4 to 8 weeks.[2] Some people who are infected do not have symptoms.[1]

The Author in my book is not trying to be a scientist but has a conjecture, an idea, but is mostly trying to call politicians blood sucking parasites. This is nothing like drinking bleach as Ivermectin is literally approved for worm removal worldwide. The idea that this would improve overall health and Immunity makes some sense.
