Frank Artiles paid for a Alex Rodriguez, who ran as an independent, to run a "sham" candidacy for office to take votes away from the Democrat incumbent Jose Rodriguez. Republican Ileana Garcia, who won by 32 votes, claims to not be in on the plan.

I have seen this exact thing play out in local elections, but was not successful. I have seen it happen with both Democrats and Republicans.

I think the system is working. It is the system that has been manipulated to work in favor of the grifters. I have changed my mind over the years on things like term limits and making stronger laws against conflict-of-interest money. If people, who care, want to make a difference, they will the spend the majority of any election effort into the local scene. I think the U.S. government is like a pyramid. The bottom layers support or enable the top.

To me, that's not vote fraud, as the voters made the decision. It is subverting the system, in a way, though. How much different is it than hopium?

          Then call it campaign fraud.
