Oh, Canada. :(

They've fallen hard.

Although, I remember when a Canadian quarter was only worth $0.20.

Now the american quarter is worth $0.20.

They're about the same; both in a heated race to ZERO.

I remember when it was $0.30 and better too. It goes up and down. Ironically when I worked in the US or in Canada the dollar exchange always seemed to switch to exploit me more when I crossed over. I never crossed when it was most advantageous.

I have been wanting to visit Canada. The only part I've seen is the Vancouver area for a couple of hours and Yukon territory close to the Alaskan border. My wife grew up down river, so I would like to cross over to your side while we're visiting relatives. I would also like to visit Quebec, but I don't speak Canadian French (or even regular French).

Your wife grew up down in a river? Is she a bear, perhaps?

Sometimes. I'm sorry. I should have said downriver.

Keep in mind this was made 10 years ago.

I've been there. Good shopping back in the 80s.

I've been to Alaska and the Queen Charlotte Islands. I'm huge fan of their art and by derivative relation their culture to understand it. I have 80 books on the Northwest Pacific art and culture. As an animator since 1989 I wanted to animated it and in 2004 I declined directing on the first animated series in Calgary because I was too much of a SJW. I wanted to help teach First Nations how to animate their own culture rather than lead a room of white boys animating over First Nations' actors' voices.

In my experience making an effort to learn basic words goes a long way and getting around in Québec isn't so difficult, especially in much of Montréal.

I live in Windsor, south of Detroit.

I remember that from one of your posts recently. You spoke of looking out over the river.

Good memory. Sometimes I wonder if I'm sharing to amuse myself.
