Given the time people like this put into ‘researching’ children, they didn’t notice that boys tend to show more skin when swimming? They didn’t have a clear view from the bushes or couldn’t hold the camera steady with just one hand?

The creator of that is a feminist and appears a pretty hardline social constructionist. I may have unfairly assumed co-morbidities that often come along with these and related ideologies.
