It's funny though, I just saw an article earlier about Oklahoma returning all their HCQ and wanting to like sue the Trump administration for misinformation about it.

But maybe that article itself was disinfo. Too many conflicting narratives these days, needs to be more middleground and neutrality in the news

Maybe they truly are uninformed to the point that they are trying to return it.

Also, there is not a wealth of doctors that operate outside of huge medical corporations anymore, they are probably so tied up between legalities, corporate policy and as you said the mass hodgepodge of true&fake info out there that they couldn't use it if they wanted to.

Could be, your last paragraph makes a lot of sense. I just figure if the HCQ was working, Oklahoma would know that by now.

Maybe it works, but not super duper well. From what I'm reading it sounds like vitamin D and zinc might be more effective as a preventative. But you can also take both. My mom was taking HCQ for an unrelated thing and still got corona. But she did have a very light case of it compared to when my dad got it months later. (and they didn't spread it to each other despite living together, which I heard from a doctor friend of mine was surprisingly common)

But yeah it's clear there's a lot of emphasis on money-making vaccines but not a lot of emphasis on cheap and available cures (I've also heard ivermectin mentioned as a cure, which is apparently some sort of horse medication that's widely available for purchase and works on covid)

The media has been downplaying these cheap cures and up-playing the drama of covid and the importance of the vaccines (which are really mRNA gene therapy more than they are a traditional vaccine)

Lots of funny business, tbh

So far as ivermectin - I own a horse, work & lived on a ranch for 10+ years. Not a doctor but I'd say its way safe, been treating horses, pigs and dogs with it forever... No ill effects. If I needed a 'cure' I'd try it in a heart beat, no qualms.

Pretty certain the beef industry is using it on all the cattle we eat anyways...

EDIT: Ivermectin is a dewormer. They are using SOME form of dewormer, guaranteed.
