Biden is what the Corporate Media pretended Trump was for the last 4 years.

[–]madcow-5 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Agreed. Particularly on how much he lies. Trump will exaggerate dumb shit, but Biden flat out lies about factual, quantifiable, and important stuff.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Fat and stupid?

[–]Artistic-Mastodon-25 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (3 children)

Stupid and racist. I dont care if the president is fat. I do care if he's stupid and racist. Joe Biden is stupid and racist.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Biden is playing at being woke but honestly, anyone as old as Biden or Trump lived in a period when casual racism was the norm and that's shaped them.

[–]Artistic-Mastodon-25 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

He's more than just a casual racist.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Casual racism doesn't mean he's a lesser racist but that racism was every day and common place.

[–]zyxzevn 9 insightful - 3 fun9 insightful - 2 fun10 insightful - 3 fun -  (4 children)

It was probably "misspoken", just like the voting-fraud. ;/

[–]Kyto113 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

It wasn't even misspoken, OP only quoted the second half of the sentence to make it look bad:

"If we cannot make significant progress on racial equity, this country is doomed. It's doomed not just because of African Americans, but because by 2040, this country is going to be minority white European. You hear me? ... And you guys are going to have to starting working more with Hispanics."

[–]ChillyChili 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

That doesn't make it ok.

[–]Kyto113 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Lol it changes it from racist to realistic...

[–]ChillyChili 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

No. It's still racist. "Diversity" hiring is racist, as well as agendas to further the decline of a race of the population.

I'm not going to violate my constitutional authority.

Oops, a little late for that.

Joe Biden says that whites becoming a minority because of an unrelenting stream of immigration is a good thing.

[–]insta 6 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Biden has been vocally more anti-white than Obama ever was.

Don't get me wrong, Obama was as well but Biden has so many more verbal gaffs about it.

I hope he comes down with the most painful and long lasting type of cancer, ideally something very ironic. Same for the entire top of the corporatocracy.

I have to laugh cuz a couple of mexicans I have talked to say they're takin it back. They have no idea what they are saying. They escaped a 3rd world shit hole to turn a first world into a 3rd world by over populating it with 3rd world mentality and expect it to remain first world.

It's hilarious watching him talk down to people like he thinks he's actually in charge, and not just a vassal who's literally going to be killed by the people who put him in power.

That stunt about Hunter's laptop story running in the MSM a couple weeks ago wasn't the MSM suddenly having an ethical epiphany, it was the DNC greenlighting the story because now that the presidency seems secured, it's time to throw Biden to the wolves.

    [–]Orangutan[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Agreed. Good observation. That was strange.

    [–]Kyto113 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

So you cut the first part of the sentence, The part that gives context to the claim and completely reverses the meaning... Wow.

You do know you can't omit The antecedent of a conditional and still preserve the meaning right?

    [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The right would have a lot less reading material if they stopped deliberately decontextualizing events. Like Biden supposedly saying n*gger. There's no way anyone accidentally thought he wasn't reading a transcript.

And it's certainly not exclusive to the right. The left is just as guilty if not more. Trump, and though I'm not a fan, wasn't the monster he was made out to be.

The us vs. them mentality shouldn't be regular American against themselves over political affiliation, race, gender, or religion. It should be all of us vs. the gov. So many people here are worried wearing masks is the gov trying to control us, but they already are playing us off one another like suckers.

    [–]ChillyChili 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

    Does not reverse the meaning

    [–]Kyto113 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The entire quote is predicated on the antecedent of the conditional. It completely changes the meaning of the sentence to omit it.

    [–]Fitter_Happier 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (7 children)

WTF was his point? This guy makes Trump sound like Shakespeare.

    [–]madcow-5 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

He also lies 5+ times per minute, exactly like the left claims Trump does.

Trump does his share of bullshitting, and exaggerates dumb stuff like his inauguration crowd size, but Biden lies blatantly, about factually important stuff, more than any politician I've ever seen.

    [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

    politician

The best take away imo is they're all scum.

I heard that one. He's just saying whatever he thinks will earn him favor now. A couple months ago he openly endorsed 8 year olds going on HRT. It's basically what he's done his whole career.

On a side note, it's cringehow the left is trying to rewrite history. Anyone who looks into it sees the guy made an improvement on one part of the lightbulb. He didn't even invent the part, he improved it. Which is great, and ought to be highlighted. But instead, they try to spin this as a black man invented the lightbulb.

All this is going to do is increase actual racism.

      [–]Kyto113 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

His point is that addressing racial issues in this country is going to be more important in the future. If we don't do anything about racism, it'll tear the country apart as the demographics switch to be less and less white.

This is made very clear by the first part of his sentence that OP conveniently deleted

      [–]Fitter_Happier 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

If we don't do anything about racism

What do we do about the sun rising?

      [–]djhdlkguhaeil 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

      there's no way

      [–]jet199 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

      Biden is scum.

      [–]Zapped 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Ironically, Biden calls for not abusing the Executive Order as it's not the Constitutional way to create law; yet he stood by while Obama and Trump used it, and also was silent while some U.S. States changed their U.S. elections rules without going through their State legislators. I think Biden's going to be more moderate than a lot of people think. Like u/AmericanMuskrat said, he's old-school. He may even, occasionally, have an easier time dealing with Republicans than Democrats with the way the Democrat Party is changing. I haven't made up my mind on how Harris will be when Biden steps down, but I think she's a lot more likely to go along with whatever solidifies her power. If the U.S. Senate goes to the Democrats, I don't think Biden even matters on domestic policy for 2 years.

        [–]Kyto113 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I'm sure you just accidentally forgot to include the first part of his quote:

"If we cannot make significant progress on racial equity, this country is doomed. It's doomed not just because of African Americans, but because by 2040, this country is going to be minority white European. You hear me? ... And you guys are going to have to starting working more with Hispanics."

He's saying if we don't get our act together on racial issues the country is doomed because it's only going to get more diverse...

No way you excluded that part in order to make him look bad, you wouldn't be that much of an asshole

        [–]ChillyChili 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Watch more of the vid and see him pander to that zoom call promising diversity in his cabinet.

The decline of whites was a selling point.

        [–]Kyto113 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's a reality... But I guess you'd prefer another president who lives in lala land.

The call itself is from Dec. 8.
