I remember a few years ago a Russian posted up something along the lines of "If Putin called his legitimate democratic opposition an enemy of the state the Western media would be full of condemnation and calling it the anti- democratic move of a dictator but weirdly Western politicians and journalist have now started using this phrasing and think when they do it it's just part of the fun and games of politics."
