The release of prisoners + defunding police is a great way to decrease budget deficits. Hopefully they put those savings toward social programs geared for helping the increasing number of victims of rape and assault.

Look, you could point out all the cherry picked bad, but you could also point out all the good, such as the people in there for crimes that should not be crimes at all such as most drug and gun offences, which may now be let out, as well as the people serving or facing punishments that do not fit the crime for other petty things, which is far too common.
