Yes, There Is Such a Thing as Cancel Culture. Incredibly, the Harper's letter spawned a bunch of people saying that there is no such thing as cancel culture. As Steven Pinker has argued, cancel culture has parallels with the Chinese cultural revolution and the European witch hunts.

I have to admit - I never expected people to claim "cancel culture isn't real". You notice the less powerful people that signed that letter are facing consequences for it? People on the letter "retracting" their signatures due to harassment?

... Oh come on, it's not like groups spent years pressuring Reddit to ban certain subreddits, and were celebrating when Reddit finally gave up and did it... /s

Look up a Narcissists prayer. Once you've read that one and realize that this is their standard operation procedure, then you'll be able to spot them anytime. They always start by claiming it isnt real. "Source!?", "Thats not real communism", "so-called cancel culture", etc.
