I hate the term "cancel culture" and I also dont think the criticism thats publicized recently is achieving anything.

Can somebody explain to me at whom exactly this criticism is directed? Who precisely are they complaining about or complaining to? All I hear is lots of whining but it has absolutely no direction.

And you know why that is? It's because the cause of "cancel culture" isnt the mob to begin with. Both the mob and the cancel culture are the result of a greater issue: the general level of cowardice in our society. Cowards join the mob or kneel before it or opportunistically try to exploit it. All this happens when too many feel they got too much to lose to risk anything. Only the cowards enable and empower the mob and cause it to grow. And only when people start growing some balls the mob will be defeated, and very easily so, because the mob, too, is made up of cowards.

People individually want to feel like they created something. In cancel culture circles they "create" the mob destruction of another individual so they will do anything and twist everything to achieve that goal.
