Borderline, I've seen interesting arguments among geneticists on both sides. Culturally I'd say Greeks certainly are.

Honestly? Genetically Semitic people like Arabs, Jews and including north Africans group closely with Europeans. We all have a lot of shared Neolithic ancestry from about 10k ago.

Any group that historically speaks an Indo European language is linked by ancestry from an expanding group of herders in the bronze age. All the way from Spain, Greece, to the Caucasus we are all so closely related it's not worth splitting us.

If anyone wants I can give a more detailed explanation of how we all got to be where we are, but my area of interest is limited to the Europe/West Asia/Northern Africa area.

Are a mix of Caucasoid Anatolian Neolithic ancestry from about 7k ago, mixed with local East African. There was an even older back migration from Eurasia into north and east Africa about 40k ago.

They are about 40% all African ancestry. But it varies with ethnicity.

Culturally, you say? Noice. Try this, then:

  • Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, etc

  • Aleph, Beth, Gimmel, Dalet, etc.
