      I hate trying to have a dialogue with Chipit. He always thinks you're trying to argue....even when you are just trying to verify that the source is legitimate. He's the type of person who doesn't want to have a true dialogue, he wants to argue and won't concede until you adopt his viewpoint. He has a lot of good posts but he doesn't understand how to talk with people online...

      Are you a bot? Did you actually read what he said? He's agreeing with you, about the topic of discussion, and asking an additional question.

      And instead you change the topic, and then accuse him of not arguing the point (a rule which you yourself did not follow in the very next sentence)

      I used to get angry when people made personal attacks instead of arguments. It frustrated me to no end. But now, I just grin. Personal attacks are me winning. If people had actual arguments, they would use them. But they don't. All they've got is "DURR HURR UR A BOT LOL" which is nothing but an attempt to remove a person's humanity. An attempt to dismiss good points by using the lowest level of the pyramid of debate.

      For the record, I actually think this is a fair and contributory comment. It's just done with a complex use of sarcasm which shouldn't be an issue.

      To be completely unsarcastic, I think a lot of people here have a certain way of thinking and aren't open to ChipIt's intelligent, but inhibited manner of self-expression.

      In yet another example of how absolutely pathetic and impotent universities have become UC Berkely put out a tweet simply denying that this was a professor without addressing anything that was said in the letter. Their bias is so transparent. Their lack of integrity so blaring. I think it is safe to say that Universities have fallen as a pillar of society. No one with any intelligence can look to an organization like this with anything but disgust.
