Loopholes and slippery definitions will always exist, but something's gotta be done.

While it may rub your ethics the wrong way about wealth rights, ethics don't mean shit when the entire matrix of rigged systems is CRUSHING and even KILLING masses of poor, directly and/or indirectly.

You can't untangle from the usa even if you tried, you can commit fraud like Trumps charity though. I believe if we fund the IRS let them collect no big problem. We still got a 167 billion who have to spend their paychecks in america. I'd like to see them leave. We still have trillions. Foolish to think different.

You have thought about this. One question. If you no longer worry about making money. What will you do when it's gone and you have no country? I see it this way. You could sneak away but you can't really escape the biggest trading place in the world. You need all of us. No body is an island. Nobody can get filthy with out us. Retire is all you can do. Enjoy! And the movement we are working on this world wide where you gonna run to.? As the world is in constant change and the home you choose to make is an election away from joining us. You better run fast with your cash.

New Poll Shows Nearly Two-Thirds of Americans Support a Wealth Tax

      ..

Among the 4,441 respondents to the poll, 64% strongly or somewhat agreed that “the very rich should contribute an extra share of their total wealth each year to support public programs”

      Hmm...

Let's say that money is borrowed. You see it was only taxed as income. We keep paying for it it's called the national debt. The filthy don't pay on that wealth again they hord it on all of of our backs. Have a look at the Panama papers if you doubt me. They take 70% of all money created and never spend it, it is never taxed again now our income is taxed every week to pay their debt. Get it? Of coarse they don't own all of our money they just think they do. What you and I pay is not what Trump pays. If he pays taxes at all.

      Wealth by definition isn't "borrowed".

The people borrowing money in your scenario and not paying anything on it are generally college students. On top of that, many of them are being bailed out after 10 years with debt forgiveness, another Wealth transfer money laundering scheme.

Taxation is theft. The govt should Control it's spending and stop looking for ways to steal money that doesn't belong to it. On top of A wealth tax being theft and immoral, it's completely unconstitutional, as if that matters to democrats i suppose.

A rich man's money should be able to be used In whatever way he deems it, the same for a poor man. But since you're in favor of a wealth tax, I'm going to bet you know better how each of their monies is better spent...

Our tax system is broken though, they need to scrap it and Institute a flat tax, but that'll never happen because it would prevent folks like you from demonizing someone or shaking the fist and telling them what you did with their money.

And the trillions of interest we pay on that debt? Every dollar is borrowed when it is created we carry deficits who is paying that.? Flat tax is foolish 😂 "demonizing" lol to funny. taxing the filthy rich is the way out don't believe me even 4 of the top five say they should be taxed a lot more! As far as how they don't spend their money or do, repeat after me this money is borrowed by us once it's in their hands it is gone forever. Yes I'm am all in on a wealth tax. You shouldn't be so afraid. We are also for the death tax. That should freak you out enough. I can't agree with you less. You swallowed the red pill Hook line and sinker you guys kill me. Nonsense

      Indeed. It's all a scam.

Stock trading isn't significantly taxed because "they" have rigged it that way.

All that interest is to keep everyone debt slaves with slave wages because "they" have rigged it that way.

They invaded Panama but are helpless to stop the tax shelters there because "they" have rigged it that way.
(They aren't helpless. Watch this docu: /s/Documentaries/comments/22ar/the_spiders_web_britains_second_empire/ )

And who controls those public programs? The rich.

Even if it happens it's will still be rigged. They'll support public ballet and shit instead of dealing with real issues.

What if, instead of taxing the wealthy, we tax luxury. Like if you buy a yacht or a plane, jewels, art, etc?

        [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

They don't buy enough. the rich can't spend the money they have unless your Betsy the multilevel marketing teacher. How many boats does she own now?. I say a percent of what they own is a smarter way then hoping they buy new shoes. Unless you like being taxed more for nothing.

        [–]mikipika 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The question is should we tax their income. Obvious they will hide their income or subvert the rules.

        They don't buy enough

REALLY? I disagree. Will they stop buying stuff? Stop going on vacation? Stop spending money to try to stay young? It's not a blockbuster, but it doesn't have to be. It would simply bring back some of the wealth they are hoarding for themselves back into the economy. It may be small to you, but to me it would be significant enough.
