You have likely seen some trolls around here. For anyone interested, here is a story....

A diverse group of travelers made their way across a bridge that connected a desolate wilderness to a paradise. An elderly asian couple walked slowly, leaning on their canes, but smiling. A young black man strode carefree, his headphones playing upbeat music. A hispanic mother held the hands of her two small children, guiding them lovingly. Alongside them was a middle-aged white man, with a curious look as he observed the group he found himself in.

Suddenly, a gruff voice called out from beneath the bridge. "Go back where you came from!" His bloodshot eyes glared up at the travelers. "This bridge is for good people only!"

The travelers paused and exchanged uneasy glances. The elderly couple tightened their grip on their canes. The young man removed his headphones, his jaw clenching. The mother pulled her children closer, shielding them with her body. The white man looked around, his expression shifting from concern to determination.

"We are together," the white man called down. "And this bridge is for any traveler."

The troll let out a harsh laugh. "You're just as bad as the rest of them," he spat. "Get off the bridge!"

The travelers refused to be intimidated. They were determined to leave the wasteland behind them and enter the other side. As they paused, they noticed the troll remained under the bridge and would not come up to confront them. They realized that he actually feared the group as he remained hidden in the shadows.

"Go back to your separate places where you belong!"

The group ignored his commands and continued on, crossing the bridge. The troll's insults echoed behind them, but they continued making their way across and refused to throw oil onto the fire of the troll's hatred for them.

As they reached the other side, the travelers exchanged friendly nods and smiles, all their differences fading in the face of their common experience. Together, they had made it out of the wilderness and were now in a land flowing with milk and honey. They were immediately greeted by multitudes of people from every nation that had traveled before them. The troll remained behind in the darkness, alone and miserable.
