on linux i use falkon, has adblock pre-installed

Thanks for the suggestion. Falkon is now installed on my Linux machine. But I could not get into Saidit using it. Cloudflare appears to be blocking Falkon. The Cloudflare check will not pass, staying in a repeating loop.

Yes, Falkon seems like the browser you can turn to as a refuge that's still polished. Brave is also usable.

I've been using Brave for almost 2 years now. Only found a few sites that need to have the "shields" lowered for it to work properly.

Exactly, and compatibility with chrome webextensions is a big plus as well.
