So not a "suspect" but a "perpetrator." We all know he did it and there's plenty of evidence. I get it, he has to have his day in court, but we don't have to pretend there's even the slightest doubt he's guilty.
This is an example of a case that should be fast-tracked to death row. There's video and eye-witness evidence so his trial is really a formality record all the evidence and determine a sentence. IMO, that sentence should be death in all cases like this, and that penalty should have a reasonable time frame for appeals based on the heinous nature. I don't care about his mental state or his upbringing. I don't care he doesn't like cops. This is a mad dog situation and we need to dispose of people like this, not coddle them for life sentences or drag out court cases for years.
