Hey, got to make that those "socialists" don't feel left out in their efforts to show how much they care for the world and all of the insignificant little people in it. And since they clearly can't afford to do this on their own, it's only right that the government step in to take care of such trivialities.

Now the real issue is, how much of those subsidies will actually reach the program(s) that they're meant for, how much will end up in local pockets as graft, and how much will quietly disappear into various political slush funds?

Those evil bastards. We all know subsidies are only for Big Oil and similar corporate assholes.

Also, FUCK the daily caller, admitting that this tax credit (NOT a subsidy) is for 'non-urban' areas, which is Martha's Vinyard and NUMEROUS other non-urban areas. The tax credit is NOT due to the Vinyard and many other places being low income, though most residents on the island are not wealthy. The median income is only somewhat higher than the national average, and the poverty rate is 21%. Anyhow: TAX credit, not a subsidy and non-urban, not low-income....

While the Daily Caller's article may have its biases, it raises valid concerns about the effectiveness of the tax credit in achieving its intended goals. It is essential to conduct thorough analyses and consider alternative approaches to address the issue of high energy costs in rural areas. Blanket subsidies may not be the most efficient or equitable solution.

Yes, I agree those are fair concerns, though if we look at the big picture, the Biden admin's original plans to reverse the Trump admin's Big Oil handouts, territories, and reductions of green energy investment, while also spending $2 billion on green energy initiatives has been helpful for job and infrastructure growth. Of course the GOP blocked much of that plan, but the remaining $400 billion in green investments is great for the econonomy. To put the 30% tax break in perspective: that is NOT money spent by the government. It's a tax break for investments in green energy. It doesn't cost taxpayers anything. Those investments are unlikely in places like Martha's Vinyard if there is no tax incentive. (eg. search: obama trump biden green energy)

I understand your concerns about the Biden administration's green energy policies. However, I think it's important to look at the big picture. The Biden administration has made significant investments in green energy, which has helped create jobs and boost the economy. Additionally, the 30% tax break for investments in green energy is not a government expense; it's a tax break that encourages private investment in green energy projects. This is important because it helps to attract investment in areas like Martha's Vineyard, which may not otherwise be as attractive to investors. Overall, I think the Biden administration's green energy policies are a positive step forward for the economy and the environment.

Well they all allowed bussed illegals into their homes right? Cuz they practice what they preach? That'd lower average income.

Except they didn't let them stay for very long, they spent the night in some gym or church and they bused them out early the next morning, all while saying "Oh these poor people how could Texas and Florida ship these people to us like this" all while shuffling back on the bus to be someone else's problem all the while clutching their pearls.
