I'm starting to think that a healthy society MUST at least keep any kind of gay people on the edge of society.

You've been duped by the regressive left. Most of these "LGBTQIPFABCDEFG+" people are not actually gay or transsexual, they're snowflakes and SJWs who see it as a fashion trend and use it virtue signal through identity politics. Real ones are mostly normal people and want nothing of this insanity.

And with how pushy the left is about it, it's almost like they want to make their opponents homophobic and transphobic and sexist, so they can say, "see it was the evil conservatives all along, vote for us!". Don't fall for it.

That's kind of what I meant. If people kept it under tha radar (a.k.a. normal gays) and didn't normalize it then it doesn't affect society, but then lots of gay people won't be able to be as openly gay as they are now (which seems to mean sexualization of the self-identity in many ways and then parade it in people's faces).

I don't think they need to hide it. They just shouldn't be so weird and pushy about it, they should treat their sexuality the same way "cishets" treat theirs.
