Might. Minnesota is one of a couple of Midwestern states that are going red. On the other hand, other states like Texas, Georgia and South Carolina are getting more blue each cycle.

Because all the blue state people are moving to all the red states. And also the Southern US states have increasingly large portions of Mexican immigrants, who generally vote democrat as a block

    Before my morning coffee I am not following you. Large, important states are turning blue. Small, unpopulated ones may be turning red.
