Might. Minnesota is one of a couple of Midwestern states that are going red. On the other hand, other states like Texas, Georgia and South Carolina are getting more blue each cycle.

    There are no real Communists left. The Chinese Communist Party now includes millionaire industrialists. The Russian Communist Party is as powerhouse among the old and senile. There are not even any Maoists left in Peru, and I think we can all agree we miss those lethal goofs. The Indian Communist Party has been fractured in three for decades. Does the CPUS even have a post office box now that the Soviets are no longer paying the light bills?

    Some people say they are Communists. Some people say they were born on Mars. But there are no real Communist movements left. That train left the station decades ago.

    Western Communism began to die on 20 August 1968. After that is only survived because of Soviet money. People were paid to be Communists. The other half of the meetings were FBI informants. American Communism exists the same way as the Klu Klux Klan does. Some people get together say "OK, we are Klansmen."

    Internationally, you would be hard-pressed to find a Communist in the Chinese Communist Party. They are nationalists and personality cultists.
