Just as an FYI, the lead singer started identifying as a transgender man last year (after years of being out as a lesbian)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I know they have (had?) a substantial lesbian fanbase, so I'm sure you're not alone in feeling this way

I'm not a lesbian, but most of my favorite musical artists seem to be. I'm upset that she got sucked into the undertow of not feeling happy enough with her biological body to the point of transition. I couldn't imagine what the lesbians in her fanbase felt, but I'm sure heartbreak tops the list for many.
