Some suspect the ruling of the supreme court regarding the border was so there would remain a highly polarizing campaign issue to help the Republican party.

It seems to me that the media focuses on distraction campaigns by using vague sex allegations and unnamed sources to dirty the opposition while failing to address legitimate issues that the citizens are actually concerned about, such as border security.
