That is how the false-positives from PCR-tests became a standard. And the forced avoidance of natural herd-immunity (based on T-cells and not just on mostly worthless anti-bodies).
The governments with low critical thinking like to adopt these standards, and like to blame the critical thinkers for being problematic.

Note that Doctors and scientists that divert from a standard are attacked and censored now. That is because the media gets a lot of news out of the fear. They also can blame other news sources of being "dangerous" using this same fear. A good way to get competition away, especially now the news is so unpopular. They are hyping each totalitarian measure with their fake news.

The Big Pharma collective likes the fear, because now they can make more profit from an epidemic. They have already sold vaccines before they were developed, and do not need to go to a lot of costly safety testing. Lots of profit.

The big corporations and banks are the most to profit of the measures taken. So their lobbies are pushing and forcing the governments into very corrupt decisions. All big corporations are given money and loans, while most small business people and self-employed people are suffering. This is good for the big corporations, as they can now establish their monopolies in certain countries.

Finally the billionaires and other elite. They own most of the mainstream press, political organisations, and the mainstream science publications. We know what some of these elites want., and it is not nice
