Reports indicate that the immunity doesn't last, and that people can be reinfected in a few months. (Hence my comment.) A combination of basic precautions and vaccines, and potentially the immunity benefit, should do the trick.

Vaccines work the same way on immunity as infection does.

We don't know yet, as there are several versions of vaccines. One benefit of a vaccine is that it can be applied at will, whereas it's not easy to understand periods of immunity and what to do about them.
