So if I suggest alternative solutions, you just respond with "whataboutism"?

I used a found image to make a meme. How about you try that?

It's "howaboutism" not "whataboutism.

I'm down with most of the solution but we're operating at near peak stupidity right now - so unless you want Shadowrun/Cyberpunk (replacing cool cyberware with bullshit smartphones and fit-bits) we're going to need a strong authoritarian post-revolution government to accomplish most of the objectives.

The issue with getting there is that the monopolies, banks, and the deep state have such a stranglehold on communication that it's difficult to achieve. As a result the best outcome we are likely to get is state level balkanization in the US, and these new countries will be subverted by globohomo almost as soon as they crop up - unless run by uncompromising authoritarian radicals of whatever stripe.

That's what they want you to think.

If the police and government and the media were actually responsible to the well-being of the people then none of this would have happened, now would it continue to. It's all bullshit theater. Yes it's affecting some neighborhoods - but the vast majority of neighborhoods around North America and the world are NOT behaving like the freak show fear porn.

More centralized authoritarian government power (and banks and corporations and media) is NEVER the answer. Better government always is - yet they always get worse. The ruling class serves only the ruling class. Take away their power and return it to regional communities where there's actually some accountability and responsibility and then you'll have solutions.

This is the class war over ideas: centralize authority or grassroots communities. They have more power in all senses, but we have more way more people. They have everything to lose and we may need to get to where we have nothing to lose before we wake the flock up.

Good point.

"Whataboutism" is a distraction blame game.

Your usage of "Howaboutism" sounds like proposed alternative actions.

How about twice? Now three times!
