I didn't mean that you were cheering the American government oppressing its population. My bad. I meant that the people around the world who've had their nations destroyed by the American government's foreign policy, are the ones cheering it on. They fail to realize that it's not the American people who devised and implemented those policies, although I can understand foreigners being resentful towards the American people (the ones who participated in the elections, anyway) because they voted those politicians and parties into power. Which is why I don't participate in elections anymore, because no matter who you vote for, they never do what they promised and they're never accountable for it.

Agreed.

I'm sure some are cheering. I'm hoping more are upset about it. I'm hoping even more know that most government (s)elections are a joke and they're gonna do what they're gonna do anyway because the permanent non-elected shadow government never changes.
