He got metoo'd, so he's a rapist. How'd he get back in journalism? I thought they ostracized rapists?

Only the bad type of rapist, like the bad type of spying or the bad type of rich white guy.

Although I don't remember him getting MeTooed, and I'm not sure I believe it. I'm convinced he'd be physically incapable.

Well, it sure has been a challenge to get a search engine to cough up a result from 2017 that showed he got metoo'd. But he sure did. He abruptly quit his show "for no reason" in the middle of a deranged rant against Trump, and then it came out he was accused and that's why.
