Funny how lesbian woman has become “queer femme”

What’s with the eagerness to erase those terms and dance around them. Specifically the word lesbian.

But I thought he "felt like a woman"? Now you feel like you don't fit in? How strange...

As a francophone evolving in an English speaking world I'm pretty annoyed with the expression "femme". Like, femme literally means a woman in French. In French (and in Creole communities, correct me potential Haitians if I'm wrong) when we say that a woman is "trop femme", it literally means she is "such a woman" and it's always in a sexual way. Being "femme" is basically being the "correct" way of being female, that is sexy and hot and basically available.
So I kinda get what it means in English, but I find it fucking offensive.
